Wade Cook

Wade Cook CEO and Coach of Wade Empowers, Wade describes himself as someone who delivers holistic wellness services, including Reiki healing, coaching sessions, space clearing, and sound baths. A survivor of trauma, Wade has turned those experiences into a life of courage and creation of community. He is a strong advocate who exemplifies thriving in the face of adversity. Wade holds a BA in Education and is a California Certified Peer Support Specialist. He has served as a speaker, facilitator, and advocate in HIV and recovery communities for many years, including Project Upfront (Las Vegas), HIV Advocacy with Project LEAP (Houston), chair of the Ryan White Planning Council (Southern Nevada), Being Alive (Los Angeles), and Desert AIDS Project (Palm Springs). He served on the advisory board for HARP (HIV and Aging Research Project) as well as facilitator with Hardship to Hope at Columbia University.
