Kris Ericson, PhD
Kris is a behavioral health leader, consultant, and writer with more than 40 years of experience in health policy, association management, and program development. She has served as Executive Director of the College for Behavioral Health Leadership, where she advanced governance, fundraising, and leadership development initiatives, and now leads Ericson Consulting, supporting organizations nationwide with strategy, program design, and training. A published author and skilled technical writer, Dr. Ericson has secured major grant funding, authored policy analyses, and developed educational resources on behavioral health and social determinants of health. She has organized national summits, statewide conferences, and virtual convenings that bring together leaders to drive system change. Kris serves as the Managing Director for the Via Elders Project, part of the ViaTiva Family of Companies, passionate about preserving and sharing the wealth of knowledge of behavioral health elders with the larger community. Her work has consistently focused on integrating care, advancing recovery-oriented programs, and strengthening public sector behavioral health systems. Dr. Ericson holds a PhD in Public Administration and Health Policy from Penn State and is active in national professional associations and community leadership roles.
